American company SolarWinds has bought an Israeli startup Samanage

SolarWinds, a leading provider of powerful and affordable IT management software, announced it has signed an agreement to acquire Samanage.

Over the past 7 years, Samanage has created a strong, respected customer-oriented product that fits in well with SolarWinds’s mission and commitment to the community of technology professionals.

SolarWinds plans to add Samanage products to its IT operations portfolio starting in the second quarter of 2019. The SaaS-based offer will complement the local products that the company offers today to meet the needs of IT organizations in enterprises of all sizes – from small and medium businesses to large enterprises.

The cost of a startup Samanage was $ 350 million. Samanage is the first Israeli company acquired by SolarWinds. The American firm is expected to build its first technical development center in Israel based on Samanage.

As for the company Samanage, it was founded in 2007 and its CEO is Doron Gordon. The startup by that time attracted as much as $ 69 million in investments. The company’s main investors are Salesforce, Morgan Stanley’s, Gemini, Vintage and Marker investment funds. The company employs 200 people.
