But with its EV battery pack positioned beneath the floor creating a low center of gravity, it handles surprisingly well. Range limitations notwithstanding, the 2017 Leaf is practical and easy to operate.
Opt for the charge package on the Leaf S and it's the best value of the group—but don't pay list price.

That was impressive last year, but now that Chevrolet boasts 238 miles from its Bolt EV, the Leaf feels like yesterday's news.There's an Eco mode for greater efficiency, which cuts maximum available power by 10 percent—although its effect feels much greater.
